The Story of Seashore Soap Company.

Seashore Soap Company is a woman owned handmade soap business located in the lower mainland of beautiful British Columbia. We offer quality natural homemade soap with many different choices.

I first became interested in making handmade soap when my skin became dry, itchy, and just plain irritated, especially around my face and legs. No matter what I tried, nothing worked. When a friend asked me to join her in a handmade soapmaking class, I jumped at the chance. She was interested in pursuing a handmade soap business. I loved it from the moment I took the class. I found myself truly enjoying the soap making process, and once I started using the handmade soaps, the difference it made to my skin was amazing. My dry, itchy, irritated skin was no longer an issue. I found myself doing a lot of research regarding natural quality ingredients.

Over a period of time, I experimented with many hand made soap formulas until I found a handmade soap recipe that consistently made a hard, non drying bar of soap, a handmade soap recipe that produced a silky soft soap lather, and kept my skin feeling smooth and soft.

After giving my handmade soaps as gifts, my friends and co-workers were so delighted that they began to request more and more of the soothing handmade soaps.  My friend never did go into business, but instead, turned to me to order my handmade products. I love what I do, and I love it even better knowing that so many people benefit from my handmade soaps. It feels good to know that I can offer customers a quality bar of handmade soap that  doesn’t have all the detergents and chemicals that are so often associated with commercial soaps.
